My walk from school is perfumed with the combined sexual pheromones of the three major wild brambles of the season – wild climbing roses, blackberries and honeysuckle – who are all flagrantly (and fragrantly) flaunting their wares to ensnare entire colonies of morally weak bees. With what appears to be a large degree of success, I might add.
It’s like strolling through honey.
Life is good.
